The 3am Bus
Times have changed in our village of Gangapatnam. It is unbelievable that there are hardly any fishing activity going on in our area. Nearly one hundred fisherwomen from our village go to Nellore town as early as 3 o clock in the morning to buy and sell fish. They go from house to house in the town area to sell their fish. Some choose to sell it from the wayside. Naturally, the first bus which starts at 3 am from our village is very important and is usually full. So many lives depend on it. The bus driver and the conductor are almost like a family to all of us.
